How Aditi started CelesticLabs.

Started by expressing love for space technology. built miniature satellites and rockets in the college. competed at national and international rover competitions too. Got an opportunity to commercialise the CANSATs (miniature can sized satellites), got incubated as CelesticLabs, thinking it could become an aerospace company. Managing the college, space club and a startup , all at once became so frustrating that it felt like dropping out. At the same time, I wanted to be a part of the armed forces. I kept giving defence exams, and got so confused, whether i should continue the startup or seriously prepare for the air force. I had the opportunity to visit Aero India Air Show, at Yelahanka Air Force Base Station and that's when everything changed. Looking at the insane technology development, I got mesmerised. That was the time when i realised that a defence startup would serve both the purposes. The passion for defence and the path to build in technology synced. Looking at how foreign companies dominate Indian Defence market, was enough for us to get started. Our team worked for autonomous systems lab at University, and we had enough experience in both the space and autonomous mobility field then. Plus my internship at HAL proved to be a gamechanger, introducing us to the concept of Network Centric Warfare. And since then, we have been exploring every possible opportunity. Even now, we keep refining our startup. Because every conversation with the armed forces, brings up a new dimension of possibilities and forces us to think beyond our existing knowledge.
