THE FOUNDING COMPANY · HYDERABAD
COHORT I · APPLICATIONS CLOSED
A house for founders willing to build in the open. Twelve people, ninety days, and a city full of possibility.
One house, one cohort, three months. Press play for a short look at the residency and the kind of room we are building.
THE ORIGINAL RESIDENCY
The first Founders Residency was built around proximity: a shared house, a place to work, and enough time together to see what each person could really make. The work came before the pitch.
THE HOUSE · COHORT IWHAT THE FIRST COHORT RECEIVED
The Residency gave founders practical support so they could spend more energy on the company and the people building it.

THE CITY AROUND THE HOUSE
The city brought technical talent, real customer problems, institutions and people willing to help. The house made those connections daily, rather than occasional.

QUESTIONS ABOUT THE RESIDENCY
Applications for the first Residency are closed. No date has been announced for a future cohort. Assembly is a separate program currently accepting applications.
The city already has engineering talent, customers, universities, capital and ambitious builders. The Residency gave those ingredients a shared room and a visible working rhythm.
For the first cohort, housing, utilities, cleaning, two meals, workspace and programming were covered. Founders also received a ₹40,000 monthly stipend. These were Cohort I terms, not Assembly terms.
The first Residency house was in West Hyderabad, near the tech corridor. Its exact address was shared with selected residents.
The first cohort considered solo founders and founding teams with a working prototype, MVP, pilot or strong evidence of a problem worth solving. Applications to that cohort are now closed.
Yes. Living and working together for ninety days was central to the first Residency format.
The formal residency ended after ninety days. Founders took their work, relationships and learning forward through the alumni network and their own companies.
The founding team reviewed applications, spoke with candidates and considered the person, problem and evidence of progress before making final selections.
The first cohort was a live-in Residency house, run with The Residency network. Its focus was the daily work of building, learning and showing progress together.
No. The ₹40,000 monthly stipend belonged to the first Founders Residency. Assembly has its own support and terms, listed on the Assembly page and application.
