These terms apply to thefounding.co and its public pages, contact forms, chat, and application tools. By using them, you agree to use the site lawfully, respect other people's rights, and provide information you are authorized to share. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Submitting an application does not guarantee an interview, selection, admission, funding, investment, or any other outcome. We may ask for more information, decline an application, or change a selection process when needed. The public Assembly overview describes the current program; selected participants receive separate participation documents before joining.

The first Founders Residency is a historical cohort whose applications are closed. Its terms do not apply to Assembly. See the programs page for the distinction.

You retain ownership of your application, inquiry, recording, and other materials. You give us permission to receive, store, copy, and share them with relevant team members, reviewers, and service providers only as reasonably needed to evaluate or respond to your submission, operate a program, and meet legal obligations. You confirm that you have the right to submit them and that they do not unlawfully infringe another person's rights.

Please avoid sending trade secrets or highly sensitive information through public forms or the site chat. We handle submissions with care, but an application or chat is not a separate confidentiality agreement.

Keep sign-in links, codes, and account access private. Tell us promptly if you believe access to your account or application has been compromised. Do not interfere with the site, attempt unauthorized access, send malicious content, or use automated means to overwhelm forms or services.

The site's text, design, photographs, graphics, logos, and other materials belong to The Founding Company or their respective owners. You may view and share links to public pages. Our press and media page provides logo files for accurate editorial identification; do not alter the marks, imply our endorsement, or use them for merchandise or commercial promotion without written permission.

Ask Foundy is an AI guide for general site information. Its answers may be incomplete or wrong and do not replace a direct answer from the team, official program documents, or professional advice. The site may link to third-party websites or display external media. Those services have their own terms and practices, and we do not control their content.

Content about founders, companies, programs, or investing is general information. It is not an offer of securities or legal, tax, financial, or investment advice. An investor introduction does not promise an allocation or a funding round. Make decisions using appropriate independent advice and the final documents for the specific opportunity.

We may correct, update, pause, or discontinue parts of the site. We work to keep it available and accurate, but provide it without a guarantee of uninterrupted access or error-free content. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for loss caused by an interruption, an external service, or reliance on general site or AI content. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

We may update these terms as the website or programs change. The date above shows the latest version. Continued use after an update means the new terms apply to that use; separate signed program agreements remain governed by their own wording.
